Searching
Longing
For spiritual guidance.
Weeping,
Healing,
from an existential crisis.
Fear of wasting opportunity
Yearning for a sense of divine community.

How I yearn to feel connected to god.
Never caring before, now I cannot continue without thee in my life.
Studying from all religions
Woven together in my heart
Chanting thy name
Searching the cloudy heavens
for the direction to my new start.

I long for an enlightening experience.
Impulsive quick fix no longer does the trick, all these mindless habits are making my soul sick.

I need to detox from society
Conditioned mechanically
Losing hope in humanity
Send me a sign, oh lord, please.
